Jenna Fischer's most famous part is as Pam Beesly in the highly acclaimed TV show The Office. She received 2 SAG Awards and an Emmy for her outstanding performance by an ensemble comedy.
Jenna was raised within Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna saw her mother, Anne, perform in the church when she was a child, which instilled a love of theater and performance.
Following the conclusion of The Office, Fischer, a theater-trained actress returned to her roots. She starred with Josh Hamilton Leslie Bibb Fred Weller in Neil LaBute's Off Broadway production Reasons for Being Happy. She then starred in Steve Martin's latest production Meteor Shower. It was an absurdist comedic piece opposite Greg Germann, Josh Stamberg and ran for record-breaking time at Old Globe Theatre.
In October of 2019, Fischer and The Office cast-mate and real-life best friend Angela Kinsey started a podcast called Office Ladies on the Earwolf platform. It has grown to been a huge success, landing within the Top Ten globally every week and registering more than 200 million downloads in its initial two years. Office Ladies was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the year award in January 2021.
She is the author of two books: The Actor's Life and a Survival Guide In it, she details her journey to St. Louis to Hollywood and her journey to becoming a successful actor, as well as the upcoming Office BFF's: Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends Who Were There (co-authored with Angela Kinsey) This book provides the story of their greatest friendship and time working in The Office.
