Her work on horror movies has earned her the title horror queen. She first became known for her role as Marnie Michaels in the HBO comedy-drama show Girls (2012-2017) and earned her a Critics' Choice Award nomination. Her big break came when she played the part of Rose Armitage in the horror film Get Out (2017), that earned her nominations from the MTV Movie Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Awards among other awards.
