Greta Eleonora Thunberg born Greta Tintin Ernman on 3rd of January 2003, was born in Stockholm Sweden. The parents of her are Svante Thunberg who is an actor as well as Malena Ernman an opera singer. Thunberg believes that humanity is facing an existential crisis because of the global warming. She uses graphic analogies to highlight her worries and frequently scolds business and political leaders about their failure to take concerted steps. Thunberg's bold actions first began in August 2018. She sat in a calm posture in front of the Swedish Parliament, and erected a "School Strike For Climate' sign and boycotted schools. Her goal was to draw the interest of politicians and encourage them to take steps to stop the global warming. Swedish media picked up on Thunbergs striking and word of her strike spread. Thousands of students around the globe joined in the #FridaysforFuture protest, avoiding Friday school to protest the effects of climate change. Climate activists from all over the world came together to organize the very initial Global Strike for Climate. The event was hugely successful, over 1.6million people from over 100 countries participated.
